A Journal That Follows The Sun

The last point is played. Everyone stays a little longer.

The rackets go under the table, the coffee arrives, and the conversation that started on court keeps going long after the score stops mattering. Somewhere between the first serve and the second coffee, the day has quietly become about something else.

That's where this Journal begins.

Who's writing this

We're Rob and Tali. We design the clothes. We also travel fulltime, chasing warm courts and good light across a handful of countries a year, and most of what ends up here starts as something we noticed on the way to a game.

We pack the bag ourselves. We work out where to play on a Tuesday in a city we've never been to, and find the café afterwards because it looked good from the street. The Journal is simply where that gets written down.

Our point of view

Most padel writing is about the match. The grip, the wall, the third-shot lob. Most padel travel writing is about logistics — the courts booked, the transfers arranged.

We're more interested in where the game takes you. The court overlooking the water. The lunch that was meant to be quick and turned into the whole afternoon. The hotel you found by accident and now can't stop mentioning to people who haven't been. The friend you made because you both showed up early for the same booking.

We count all of that as padel too.

A journal that moves with us

We follow the sun. Warm courts, long evenings, whichever coastline or city is having its season. The Journal moves the same way — a guide from wherever we've just been, written while it's still fresh, the closest thing to a padel travel guide we could write, because we're actually living it.

That means recommendations that are genuinely ours. Where we stayed. Where we played. The bakery we went back to twice. The wine bar with three tables and no sign. What we packed and got wrong. What we'd do differently next time.

We write about the life we're already living, and the clothes we make happen to travel with it — worn on court in the morning, and at a table that evening, in the same outfit throughout.

What you'll find here

Two recurring formats to start.

The Volle Guide — a deeper look at one destination through our own experience. Where we stayed, played, ate, swam. A local wine bar, the best bakery, what we packed, handy tips.

The Volle Weekend — shorter, for the trips that don't need a full guide. Where we went, what surprised us, one place we'd already go back to.

Alongside those: conversations with people who happen to love padel as much as we do, essays on where fashion, travel and sport keep overlapping, and the odd dispatch that has very little to do with padel at all — because a life well lived rarely stays inside one lane.

Every piece here should hold up on its own. Even without a racket in hand, we'd like you to read it over coffee and feel like you'd want to go. It's the kind of boutique padel brand we set out to build — one worth reading before you ever step on court.

Court to café, wherever that happens to be

The clothes started this. We built what we couldn't find — technical enough for the match, stylish enough to wear straight through the evening that follows it, wherever in the world that evening happens to be.

The Journal is the rest of that thought, written down as we go. New courts. New corners. New places worth the detour.
